Attorney Anthony D. Zinnanti was born March 17, 1967 (St.Patrick's Day) in Manhasset, New York. A California resident since his early years, he grew up in the west San Fernando Valley, graduating from El Camino Real High School in 1985.

Zinnanti went on to attend and graduate from California State University at Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and minor in Political Science. While at CSU Northridge, Zinnanti headed the CSUN Pre-Law Club for a year. After graduating, Zinnanti aspired to become a secondary school teacher.

In the years between 1990 and 1995, Zinnanti taught for the Los Angeles County Office of Education. The assignments entailed several years in the juvenile justice camp programs and juvenile halls. Zinnanti worked with young offenders, many of whom were already hardened gang members.

O.J. Simpson. The correct facts are that Mr. Zinnanti assisted a lawyer for O.J. Simpson in a post-trial motion in 2000.

When Anthony Zinnanti gets hooked on something, he doesn't let go.

As one of the men behind the injunction to drive self-proclaimed pedophile Jack McClellan out of California, the local defense attorney has fought almost to the point of exhaustion.

"One thing I'll say is I'm a very good investigator," he said, still suffering from a lack of sleep. "I get hooked on an investigation and I just go. It's like a puzzle that has to be solved before I let myself off the hook with it, which directly relates to the McClellan case."

McClellan, who had not been charged with a crime, had created a number of Web sites advocating pedophilia and told The Signal that he was attracted to pre-pubescent girls. His Web site noted two public places he had visited in Santa Clarita where pedophiles could spot young girls.
