Adrea Tencer

Adrea has experience in various family law matters including domestic violence, dissolution, annulment, parentage, child support, spousal support, name changes, and child custody. Adrea is incredibly passionate about this work and practices law with an eye towards trauma-informed services.  She appreciates the opportunity to meet people during periods of transition and help them navigate the legal system.

Adrea Tencer graduated cum laude from University of California, Hastings, College of the Law.  She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from University of California, Berkeley.  Adrea is licensed to practice in California and is admitted at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Adrea is a Certified Mediator and has completed a 40-hour Domestic Violence Counselor Certificate.

Prior to working at ADZ Law, Adrea worked at the Family and Children’s Law Center as a Bilingual Staff Attorney assisting low-income individuals in Marin County in various family law matters. She also worked at CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse) representing domestic violence survivors in San Mateo County.  She has served as a Pro Bono Attorney for Bay Area Legal Aid’s Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic.

Adrea is currently a member of the local bar associations in Sonoma, Marin, and San Mateo Counties.

Outside of work, Adrea serves as the Chair of Outreach on the Board of Directors of JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), spends time with her daughters, and grows cut flowers in Sonoma County.
