Christelle Carlon

Christelle Carlon is a Certified Family Law Specialist with extensive expertise in handling complex family law matters. She earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2009, where she actively participated in the family law society and volunteered at the YWCA domestic violence clinic. With a strong foundation in family law, Christelle has been practicing exclusively in this field since 2014, offering her clients a deep understanding of the nuances involved in family law cases.

Christelle's background includes representing various creditors in bankruptcy and foreclosure before she fully dedicated her practice to family law. Her comprehensive knowledge enables her to guide clients through amicable and intelligent separations. However, when settlements are not possible, Christelle is a formidable advocate in high-asset, high-conflict custody, and domestic violence cases. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a major in Economics and Political Science, further enhancing her analytical and strategic skills. During her studies, she completed coursework in financial analysis, econometrics, and budgetary policy, equipping her with a solid foundation in financial principles and decision-making.

Christelle is an active member of the State Bar of California and the co-chair of the San Mateo County Bar Association, Family Law Section, where she works diligently to address the needs of the legal community and strengthen the connection between the bar and the bench. She also serves as a board member at Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA), where she dedicates time and her commitment to supporting those affected by domestic violence through governance. She serves as a member of the Board Development Committee where she was the co-chair in 2022 and 2023.

Outside of her legal practice, Christelle enjoys camping with her family, picking vegetables from the garden, and unwinding with Netflix after her children go to bed (if they go to bed).
