Adrea Tencer brings a wealth of experience to ADZ Law, LLP, focusing on various family law matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, division of assets, domestic violence restraining orders, and parentage action. Adrea is incredibly passionate about her work and practices law with a focus on trauma-informed services. She values the opportunity to assist individuals during periods of transition, helping them navigate the legal system with compassion and expertise.
Adrea graduated cum laude from the University of California Law San Francisco and holds an undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is licensed to practice in California and admitted to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Adrea is also a Certified Mediator and has completed a 40-hour Domestic Violence Counselor Certificate, further enhancing her ability to support and advocate for clients facing challenging situations.
Before joining ADZ Law, Adrea worked at the Family and Children’s Law Center as a Bilingual Staff Attorney, assisting low-income individuals in Marin County with family law matters. She also represented domestic violence survivors in San Mateo County through her work at CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse). Additionally, Adrea has served as a Pro Bono Attorney for Bay Area Legal Aid’s Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic, demonstrating her commitment to providing accessible legal support to those in need.
Adrea is an active member of local bar associations in Sonoma and Marin Counties. Outside of her legal practice, volunteers frequently with Breakthrough T1D and previously served as the Chair of Outreach on the Board of Directors.
